Stories of Acton and Central Canberra, from Ancient Geology to Modern Geography

A walk around the scenic foreshores of Lake Burley Griffin's West Basin with insights into the ancient and modern geology of Canberra provided by Dr Doug Finlayson (Geological Society ACT). End with refreshments at The National Museum or The Ivy Cafe, Old Canberra House (own expense). 

Meeting Point: Outside the entrance to the National Capital Exhibition, Regatta Point, Barrine Drive, Commonwealth Park. 

End: National Museum (20 minutes walk back to starting point)

Time: 10:00am - 11:30am
