About Canberra: A City Album

Explore Canberra's fascinating past. Historic footage captures the days of prohibition, the festivals, the parades and many changes in the lives of the people who have lived there. Canberra is much more than just the bush capital of Australia - it's also a place where people live, work and play. Canberra: A City Album explores a fascinating past to see what it was like to live here from the days of the first sod turnings up until self-government gave Canberrans responsibility for the Territory's future.
