Landscapes of Central Canberra - a Geological Introduction

A walk around the scenic foreshores of Lake Burley Griffin’s West Basin with insights into the ancient and modern geology of Canberra provided by Dr Doug Finlayson (Geological Society ACT). End with lunch at The National Museum (own expense). 

Start: Meet outside the entrance to the National Capital Exhibition, Regatta Point, Barrine Drive, Commonwealth Park. 

End: National Museum (20 minutes walk back to starting point)

Start Time: 10:00am

Finish Time: 12:00pm
