This installment of the Old Acton series explores the history of Acton ‘across the lake,’ before it became part of Yarralumla when Lake Burley Griffin was constructed. On this invigorating walk, from Albert Hall up to State Circle, Allen will take in historical landmarks dating back to the 1830’s, comparing old photos with new vistas. Tour ends in time to enjoy the popular afternoon tea at the Hyatt (own expense).
