Old, Old Acton Part 2

Join historian Allen Mawer for part two of the Old, Old Acton tour. This will be a leisurely walk taking us around the upper Acton Peninsula, peering back into the early history of the area, and comparing old photographs with new vistas.

Location: Meet at the entrance to Old Canberra House, Lennox Crossing, Australian National University, ANU

Capturing Acton on Camera: Innovative architecture

Join us on a guided walk past some of Acton’s finest old and new innovative buildings, with tips on finding and taking the perfect photograph, led by digital photography expert Bradley Cummings. Bring your camera – all levels and cameras welcome! Book early, numbers strictly limited.

Silk Road festival

Take an imaginary journey from Asia to the Middle East as we celebrate the launch of our latest exhibition, Travelling the Silk Road. Enjoy demonstrations by artisans, cultural performances, exhibition tours and art and craft. Ideal for families with children aged 5 to 12.
