A guided walk through Acton’s captivating public artworks and scenic natural settings, with tips on finding and taking the perfect picture.  Led by digital photography expert Bradley Cummings. Bring your own camera - all levels and cameras welcome.

Acton Cottages Tour

Join ANU Heritage Officer James Collet for a tour of the Acton Heritage precinct, with a rare opportunity to view the interiors of some of Canberra’s oldest cottages, including Constable’s cottage and C.S. Daley’s cottage

Acton Art Deco Walk

Accompany Sally Brockwell and Penny Taylor from the ANU to see wonderful examples of Canberra Art Deco architecture in the Acton precinct. Beginning at the Drill Hall Gallery, highlights will include the ANU School of Art and National Film and Sound Archives. A delicious Devonshire tea and scones, served in the courtyard of the National Film and Sound Archive will conclude the tour.


Meeting Point: Entrance to the Drill Hall Gallery, Kingsley Street (off Barry Drive), Acton.

Start Time: 1:00PM

End Time: 3:00PM with Devonshire tea to follow.
